Miel welcomes Sophia Ruhne, proprietor and winemaker at Terreno!
Join us for a three course, three wine tour of Chianti Classico, Riserva + Gran Selezione in the BARN.
We will taste Sophia’s wines with a simple supper, learn about their special vineyards and possibly plan a trip to Tuscany!

Shaved Squash Carpaccio, seedling oil, toasted pine nuts, micro greens salad
Gnocchi di Castagne, gorgonzola cream
Terreno has 20 hectares of vineyards, both in Greve and Montefioralle. The Gran Selezione ASofia is from Greve, while the Gran Selezione Sillano is in Montefioralle. The ASofia vineyard is sandy clay soils, while the Sillano is higher altitude (the highest in Montefioralle) with more limestone. Today all the fruit is hand picked and all ferments use native yeast. Giacomo Fioravanti is the enologist; he came to Terreno after ten years at famed Isole e Olena.
